Free Bagel-Making Tour Through Our Facility!

You can see us making our bagel dough fresh and watch the other operations that make us who we are on our self-guided tour through the facility. Come and read about the history of the bagel and the history of Finagle a Bagel. From our start in Faneuil Hall in 1982 as Julian’s Cheesecakes, Inc. to our new building and 20 retails locations today, you will see how we have grown, our connection to the community and what makes us the very best bagel (soup, salad and sandwich too) anywhere.

We welcome large and small groups to tour the facility. Groups of 10 or more may schedule a tour guide in advance by calling 617-213-8423 or guestrelations@finagleabagel.com.

Unique to Finagle a Bagel, our BAGEL BUZZSAW ™ is a conveyor that stretches the length of our counter and incorporates a spinning blade at its center. As bagels are ordered they are placed on the conveyor and zip through the spinning blade to be cut. They are then delivered to our sandwich area where they are prepared as ordered.

Did you know that we slice so many bagels that we have to send all of our Bagel Buzzsaw ™ blades across the country every 3 weeks to have them re-coated with a special non-stick surface? There is only one company capable of handling and refinishing our blades.
